Why Swimming

Actually, the question should be “Why should you want to be a swimmer?” The answers are numerous. There is the obvious health benefit from being more active; swimming is a sport that works more areas of your body than any other sport. Swimmers also excel in other sports.


An improvement in health will bring about an improvement in overall healthier lifestyle as it opens pathways to other endeavors – getting into the outdoors more, enjoying the many benefits our state has to offer the person willing to go see what’s out there.

More and more research is showing that the active student is a better student and what better way to be active than some time in the pool? We believe getting our young children into swimming will help our schools solve their flagging test scores and graduation rates.
